The Be Real Project
I've designed a clothing brand Pana Be Real. But its not just clothing.
I stated the Be real project in New Hamphire 2019. Once a week I would go into Downtown Portsmouth, N.H and through I.G. stated meeting peopple who we interested in leaning how to skate. Going into the community and sharing the love for skate, there's nothing like it. That lead me to start thinking of how can I support girls & boys in our community that want to learn to skate, While supporting those who can not afford to buy skate gear. Looking back as an early teen, I always remember wanting to be doing somthing active, especially skateboarding. But in the early 2000's it wasnt something that girls were doing at the time or in my town, nor it seemed acceptable as a girl and nobody was around to teach me. I want to facilitate that. Not only teach and be able to supply them with the equipmet, but a friend, a pana.
My goal started in Feb. of 2020 when I held the first Be Real Project Event! I rented out an indoorskate park and had some musians play some dope music & had some handmade Pana gear for the event. The concept is to bring the community together and share the love of art, music, skate & community. People were able to donated old boards for the cause. It was an amazing expirence.
Foward to now, we Live in Vero beach Florida, and Ive Launched Pana Be Real with the mission to have events like these again. But for now, Ive started with skate days in our town and the kids are eger to learn. Cant wait to start planning our next event! But for now, Keep being REAL and share Love with the ones around you.
If you like to help in any way for this project, Please do! Skate gear can get pricy and we would really appreciate your help. Thanks again
