PANA BE REAL
Pana Be Real started in 2009 as a collection of ideas and designs by our founder LoLo while she was living in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. The word “pana” is a slang word for friend/dude in Venezuela. LoLo lived her early childhood years in Maracaibo, Venezuela, and the word quickly became part of who she was. The mixture of cultures from South America to small-town New England shaped her sense of community, love of nature, longboarding and surf culture. Consequently it had a big influence on her art – the art that would eventually become a brand, Pana.
PANA is designed for those who want to make a statement, those who want to see change, and those who want to give back. Excited for you to be part of this amazing community!
